Who is a Candidate for Velashape™ ?  

·        Women who desire circumferential reduction (i.e.- reduced centimeters or inches / thinner/smaller) of their hips, buttocks, upper and lower stomach,  love handles, inner and outer thighs, waists, flanks, and arms.

·        Women  who desire smoother skin in areas of unwanted cellulite, or localized  collections of fat, around their  outer and inner thighs, buttocks, love handles, upper and lower stomach,  arms and bra backs .

·        Women who desire skin tightening in areas of undesired fat such as upper and lower stomach, inner and outer thighs, saddle bags, waists, love handles, bra backs and necks.

·        Women with unwanted fatty tissue under the neck, arms and side of the face who desire a non-invasive therapy to help reduce small areas of fat collection.

 How is Velashape™ Performed?

     The Velashape™ device is applied to the desired area and provides a deep suction action, designed to draw the fat and cellulite skin up between the Radiofrequency electrodes (RF).  The combined RF energy and infrared heating of the fat and cellulite tissue increases the metabolic rate of the fat, causing breakdown of the fat ( lipolysis) and slow , gradual, removal of the fat collections. Drainage of the fatty tissue occurs over an 8 week period  and significant improvement of the cellulite areas occurs. Over a 4 month period, the lumps and bumps of the cellulite skin  become smooth and silky.

Treatments are not painful and are very relaxing, similar to a massage.

Each treatment lasts 50 – 60 minutes.

You can resume your normal activities immediately after your treatment.

A compression garment or support hose are required.

We encourage diet, exercise and maintenance treatments.

Insurance Guidelines

Velashape™ Cellulite Reduction Therapy is considered cosmetic and therefore, is not covered by insurance. The patient is responsible for payment.

Fee Range

Single treatment : $300 - 500
Per additional area: $250.00

Packages are as follows:

( 4 Treatments) 1 hour each:          $1200  -  1800.00
( 4 Treatments) 1.5 hour each        $1800  -  2500 .00    
( 4 Treatments) 2 hours each:         $2800  -  3400.00

Maintenance

Cellulite is difficult and resistant to exercise, dieting and other activities. Any improvement achieved with Velashape™ therapy will require maintenance treatments once monthly. Some patients with good fat reduction and smooth contours may not require maintenance treatments.
